I always like to begin with being grateful for being just where I am and for everyone around me for being just where they are. My name is Kari Taber and my professional focus is on HR (or HCM). I specialize in system design and implementations, primarily using Infor applications.

HR (or HCM) is the focus on everything related to management of employees within an organization. It is so much more than “a trip to the principals office” as was the reputation of HR for many years. There is so much that goes into efficiently and effectively maintaining employees in an organization and this landscape has been changing very much in more recent years.

I work with clients and assist them in designing their HCM system to allow them to continue to do what they do well today and enhance those things that they could be doing in a better way in the future. I also focus on the data conversion part of updating/upgrading or moving to a new system. This can be extremely complicated, frustrating and can cause failure of large projects if not done correctly.
